Default New guy to Saab with lots of questions.

Hi, I’m a new guy to Saab. The car is not even mine it is my daughter in-laws’s. It is an 87 9000 non-turbo 4 door. I have restored and built classic American cars for years but this little fellow has me stumped on some things. She got the car for $100 and it has just 200K on it. Little car runs and drives like a champ. I am going to list the stuff that is wrong and I cant figure out.
1. Brake lights don’t work. Good bulbs, fuses through out.
2. Passenger rear door will not open?????
3. Sun roof won’t open all the way unless you help it with the crank.
I am sure there will be more but for now that is all I can think of right now. Thanks in advance for any ideas you might have.

the door issue sounds like a messed u child lock. Or someone trying to break in and bending the linkages. As far as CV joints - no idea. The brake lights could be a faulty switch on the brake pedal. Sunroof - cluless....could be a motor going out.
