I am new to the Forum from Las Vegas Nevada, I have a 1997 900 SE Turbo that starts fine sometimes then other times it cranks 15-25 times before it starts. I just replace the Direct ignition Cassette but that did not help and it was expensive. Any ideas on what i should replace next?

 

Could be a bad vacum hose, warn sparkplugs, might sound stupid but also a battry near it end of its live could be the colprid.

I would start by going over each vacum hose first. Do not forget the hard to reach!

 

Does this usually happen in the morning? If so it could be a battery problem.
