Is there a way to extend the clutch so I don't have to scoot the seat up and have my face 8" from the steering wheel? (That is, without replacing the self-adjusting clutch cable?)

Also, is there a way to modify the clutch so that it doesn't have to be depressed as much? It's currently straining my leg and foot.
