Engine Swap: 2001 9-3 to 2002 9-5
Hey all. It's my first time posting here. I love reading about Saab's on this forum!
Is it possible to do a engine swap from a 2001 9-3 to a 2002 9-5? Without any alterations/modifications?
Reason for the swap is engine seized (previous owner did not check oil and ran engine with very little or no oil).
It is a manual transmission 9-5 and the 9-3 is an automatic. As far as I know the 9-5 transmission has no problems at all.
My uncle had a 2001 Saab 9-5 a few years back. When he first let me drive it, I absolutely fell in love. I would like to bring this 9-5 back to life, especially since it's a manual, which I absolutely prefer in my vehicles.
