im looking at 96 -98 saab convertibles, it seems there is a lot around 4000.00, is there anything i should look out for? is the turbo or the 6 cyl better? thanks for any help

 

the turbo is the better engine there. You should be looking at the rear seat area for hydro fluid stains. Also check the convertible top operation at least 5-6 times before committing to the car. Make sure teh AC works. It is VERY expensive to fix if it doesn't. Also look proof of regular oil changes. If it's not there you will want to drop the oil pan and inspect it for signs of sludge.
