Hello,I will be buying a '04 9-5 Aero this weekif the car is as advertised. Low mileage, automatic.

I've been busing it since the end of August (15 year old girl totaled my faithful '94 Altima while it was parked) and have always wanted a Saab. Over an hour with two transfers and having to get a ride to go anywhere really can't be described politely. On top of that I have a broken left arm (separate issue from the car) and haven't been able to ride my bicyle for a month either. Really sucks.

Is there anything in particular I should look out for other than tires? Are the headlight covers glass or are they plastic and need polishing periodically to stay clear? Any Saab owner groups in the Seattle/Bellevue area?

I'll apprciate any suggestions or tips

Headlights are usually glass. I'd take it to an independent mechanic before making a decision since there's too many specifics to look for.

 

Thanks, the mechanic is on my list. I'll post some pictures later this week if I am successful.
