i am very excited to join this forum and very excited about my used (67k about) black 2003 saab 9-3 (linear... i think, its a 5sp manual). Came with a certified warranty and looks really good. definitely the nicest car i have ever own. i used to drive a 2001 mazda protege mp3, which was a great and extremely reliable car (built in japan) until my brother totaled it. right now i am cruising in a 2001 dodge grand caravan until i get the license plate for the saab.

any advice on how to make this 9-3 last as long as a mazda?

 

Stick to the maintainance schedule. Use full synthetic oil like Mobile1 Advanced Syn and use a Saab long life filter (they're around $7-10).
