Hi All:
I plan to purchase a 93 Saab Aero in the near future, probably a 2006 or 2007. Preferably with the manual trans. Consumers Reports seems to have mixed feelings about the Saab lineup.
We have a local dealer here (London Ontario) and they usually have off lease cars available.
I love the looks and engineering of the car (both the sedan and convert) but I wonder if anyone out there an give me some advice before I purchase. Any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance...

Hi Guys:
Any advice for a newbie? A couple of questions...
1. OK to run 87 octane in the V6 turbo?
2. Any problem areas with regard to squeaks/rattles? I assume there would be more in the convertible.
3. Any service related issues I should be paying particular attention to when buying?
I hope to hear from you soon, thanks

I bought a used 2007 aero convert. w/manual a year ago. No problems so far, I haven't run 87 but I have run 89 and can't tell a difference. Love the car, very solid and able to fit 2 sets of golf clubs in trunk with top down............... I've read that there was a problem with hoses having to be replaced but I have not had the problem.
