Hi guys, I am looking to buy a used Saab 9-3/900s (non-convertable) this summer as a project car. I wanted to get into the community and see what your suggestions were as far as years and what to look for problems wise when buying. Thanks ahead of time for any feedback!

Specifically a used one under 2000$ btw.

 

Look for records of the fuel pump being replaced, proof of regular oil changes, see if the turbo has any play in it, check for smoke out of the tailpipe on a cold start...normal things you would check for any used car.
