Let me say i am glad to have found this forum and hope it will be of good use !
Presently i have a situation which the mechanic is having a problem figuring out.
I cannot get over 3000 rpm in automatic mode but i am able to do so in manual mode .
I have a 2009 six cylinder 9 3 aero xwd 4 door sedan (saab) . Has anyone encountered this problem before ? It does sound like the transmission is good but will not sense (in automatic mode ) the shift .
Any thoughts would be helpful.

I'm being told that my turbo is toast ! New one is cost prohibitive . Trying to modify it to not use the turbo and see if it is still drive worthy . Not a good ending at all !

 

I have the time for service message now, what service does it consist of. what kind of service is required? I can change things, i just need to know what to change. thx in advance.
