Will most likely pick it up in a few days and use it as an fixer upper. From what I was told the clutch has to be replaced since it's completely slipping, and there's little oil on the front of the engine. Hope to gain a lot of knowledge from this forum.

While you have the tranny out inspect the seal on the engine for leaks. Also check the axle seals on the tranny.

 

yup, the plan is to inspect as much as possible before I start thinking about upgrades. thanks for the hint.

 

quick question. is there a reason that i can only view a few threads in each forum? for example; there's 40+threads in the 9000 section but when I click on it I can only see 3.

 

There's a dropdown in the bottom of each section that let's you choose which threads to show. Set it to "From the beginning".
