Greetings! Yet another ecstatic 9-2xer eager to share some wealth (of information) with the community...
8 months, and roughly 17k miles later, my OEM Bridgstone 17s were ready for pasture?! [sm=oopssign.gif]Hey it beats me?! Wether it was Florida's rough terrain, or lack of it, I was looking forward to changing my 17" Potenza's anyway, as they were getting rather noisy during shift-downs and while driving in low gear in general....
I opted to enjoy our warm weather roads with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD 3's[sm=smiley20.gif]. Not only do they look the part, I must say that in the short week I've driven them, in wet and dry conditions, they've exceeded my expectations: surefooted, silent, they make the 9-2x feel like it's got running spikes in the rain (... as if it needed to feel more secure in the wet!).
The only key decision point which remains to be answered is tire life.... at $1,000 a set[sm=jawdrop.gif], not too keen on revisiting the world's tire inventories any time soon.
