I'm looking for a turbocharger for a 2001 saab 9.5 with the B 235E motor

 

Do you know if it's the GT17 turbocharger? If it is I have one that is in the process of being rebuilt and it'll be available end of next week...

 

I believe the saab part # is 5955703. Do you know if there is a rebuild kit available?

First I need to know which turbo you have. I'm not 100% positive that you have a GT17. Do you know how to rebuild a turbo?

 

i've looked at several step by step that say it's not too difficult or time consuming so im hoping my local shop might do it on an hourly basis and not cost too much. if they wont maybe i'll try myself. your thoughts?

 

If you wanted to, you could send it to me for a rebuild. It's by far not my first one and I'll be doing another GT17 soon.

 

all options are still on the table from this end. you say you might have one available that you rebuilt. what do you want for it. what would you want to rebuild mine. i have some experience with minor repairs waterpumps brakes radiators. is this something without major pitfalls i might try
