Considering a low mileage, but modified 9-2x and are aware of a number of issues that seem to be shared with Impreza of the same era:
- Rust/corrosion

• Front control arms
• Rear towers

- Fuel leak when cold
- Head gaskets
- Headlamp (frequent bulb replacements, which don't seem to be due to bulbs themselves)

First of all, are these issues "old" that have been resolved? I found these on a NHTSA list on carproblems.com, but don't see if they've been resolved or if there are fixes that I should confirm are on any 9-2x that I might look at, and what the fix might have been that I can confirm.

Secondly, interested in hearing from any long-term 9-2x owners and what they'd suggest I should be looking for & preparing to deal with. Also looking at BMW E46 and E90 Wagons, and have become comfortable enough in my knowledge in looking at THEM. Not there on 9-2x.

Along those lines, thirdly, any other issues that I should be aware of?
