The button above the Night Panel button in my 2008 9-3 Linear doesn't seem to change the brightness at all. I have always thought the green backlighting not only on the dash but on all the switches, and console were so brilliantly lit that it would be so easy to read, however even in a tunnel or when in the car aat night, yes it's green but it's not as bright as I want. So could it just be the switch behind the -/+ button and how much work is it to fix?

So, as always, this was user / owner error.

I had been continually short-pressing the button, instead of pressing and holding. OnceI did that, it worked fine. :embarrassed:
