9-3 Noob, convertible easy-entry handle
Hey all, just got 2011 9-3 Turbo4 convertible and enjoying learning all its gizmos and seeing how great the SAAB community is and how much they love these cars! I have a noob question I can't get a definitive answer on and perhaps convertible owners know.
On the passenger side, if the door is open, and you lift on the seat handle and tilt the seat forward the seat tilts and the motor kicks in and moves the seat forward. When you put the seat back to its normal position and hold up the handle, the motor moves the seat back until you let go of the handle. I think this is the "easy entry" function.
None of this happens on the driver's side. However, when I lift the handle, I can hear a relay being energized somewhere, so I think it is supposed to work. Can convertible owners confirm it should work on both sides, and assuming so, any guess what might be wrong?
This car has a full, professionally done, custom audio installation and somehow, when doing it they broke power to the trunk interior light. Maybe they also broke a switch on the driver's seat.
Appreciate any tips. I am checking fuses this weekend.
