I've just ordered a new 'remote contol' key for my wife's 2006 9-3.The dealer wants more money to programme the key and pair it with the car than the cost of the parts. I'm not mean, but that annoys me.

Does the key have to be programmed by the dealer, or is it possible to do it myself?

Any advice gratefully received.......

 

You need someone with a Tech2 to program the key... a dealer or an Indie will do.
