K here is my problem, I have a Saab 2003 Arc with about 70k miles.

I love the car but recently haveing these issues.

The (Automatic Climate Control) unit only blows at 1 speed and only warm air now. (Prior to this happening I did notice that the air was not as cold as it should be for about 2-3 weeks I think). Also when I turn the car off , it continues to blow so had to disconnect the battery.

Has anyone experienced this? I was told the dealer part is expensive and costs around 500 but is there any alternitives and what is the name of the part I need.

I was told it was the "Blower Resistor" or "blower resistor motor" "or is it the blower motor" as you can see I am confused.
