this might be a stupid question but i dont know a lot about cars. My friend has a cat back system from his turbo jetta that he crashed. this is what he has http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=all&id=7445. he's going to give it to me for FREE so i was wondering if this would work if i customized it a little bit so that it would fit or somthin. I have a friend that could do it all for me. if its possible this would work on my 2000 saab 9-3

 

the fact that saab is not one of the makes that the website includes on it's products list suggests that the exhaust system will not fit your ride. That said, I wouldn't worry too much about it. A performance exhaust will do little more than sound mean and look tough. Without taking in more air your car will not go faster because it pushes air out faster.

 

yea well i know that the exhaust wont fit. thats y i was planing on cutting it. and im not looking for my car to go fast cause i have no reason to go fast cause i dont race my car.

 

It won't fit, but a good exhaust shop will make the muffler work...if that is what you're after.
