Convertible Trunk Locked with Top Down - Help!
I just bought a 2004 Saab 93 ARC Convertible from my brother when he recently moved. The top would not work and the repair shop thought a cable was the culprit. However, this evening I discovered two problems before attempting to replace the cable.
1. Hydraulic oil was below minimum so I added fluid.
2. A wire was broken in the bundle leading to the pump. Repair made.
After raising and lowering the top about four times the top quit in the down position. The message on the panel says the cover is not locked and to try again. The trunk will not open. I suspect the fluid is low again due to a rapid leak, but I cannot get in the trunk to add fluid. There is a chance of rain tonight and I do not have a place to store the vehicle.
How can I get the trunk open to add fluid? Desperate for a quick response.
