HELP! CrankPositionSensor SAAB 9-3
Hi,
I have a SAAB 9-3 2.0 petrol (year 2000)
Recently I had test of roadworthyness (an N.C.T test as its known here). It has been driving perfect for me for the last 30000 mile.
When the test was complete the tester couldn't start the car. I had to call a mechanic and after a lot of investigating the CPS was replaced and it is OK again.
My query is: What causes the crank position sensor to fail? Was it as a result of the test ?
Any help is greatly appreciated
