Manual transmission question
I have been trying to determine what HP I have in my 2004 Saab 9-3. However, on the trunk of my car it has the 2.0t on it which is for the 175 HP linear. All documentation including the VIN identifies the car as an Arc.
During my research trying to identify what my HP was, I saw that the Arc have standard 6-speed manual transmissions. My car is a 5-speed transmission. Did the Arcs come with 5-speed as optional?
BTW, I don't know whether the 2.0t emblem was a replacement for 2.0T or not. I just want to know how many horses I'm pushing.

RE: Manual transmission question
the arc should have a big T which is 210HP and the lil t is for 175HP 2.0T and 2.0t and Aero...if its a 5 speed..its the lil t..i was lookin at a saab once (03' 93 2 door with 5 speed) they told me it was the sportier model and it cost 1k more than another 03' on the lot...I opted for the other 4door that was 1k cheaper and was a T not a t

RE: Manual transmission question
yea thats what i was saying...i thought arc was the better model though and the linear was the base model (for the 03' models up)..i go by this method...if the bottom of your car is black and not painted its base..(lil t) if its all painted its a more luxury one(big T dual climate controle infotainment screen) and if you can see the exhaust stickin out of the bumper with a more agressive side skirt set up on it its teh AERO(V6) im pretty sure this is somewhat accurate
