New to the Saab scene
Hello all, this is my first time posting in the Saab forums. I have been into the European car scene for a while, mainly focusing on VAG cars. But Saabs are very enticing to me, and I am considering purchasing a 2004 9-3 aero. I have a couple of questions:
How easy is it to modify these cars? I am coming from VW's so I am used to lots of options, what is out there for Saabs when it comes to ECU tuning, suspension, brakes, engine, etc?
How easy is it to do OEM+ modifications? Can I fit the stearing wheel from a newer model Aero to an 04? What are my options when it comes to OEM navigation?
Thanks in advanced for any responses, I am really looking to expand my knowledge beyond VAG and I would like to be swayed towards buying a Swedish jet

RE: New to the Saab scene
The most easily moddable cars are the older 9-3's and 900's. The aftermarket for the newer ones isn't as good yet. Check out genuinesaab.com to see what they have for this particular car. They're great cars overall, but I have no experience with the newer models and would only be helpful if you asked for aftermarket on the older generation 9-3
