Oil life % change

I just changed the oil in my 05' 9-3. Can I reset the 'Oil life' setting? Thanks

ohh man i have the same problem ive changed my oil like 3 times since ive bought it and it says my oil quality is at like 12 percent...im waitin for this one to get answered

Try changing the year on the SID two-three years into the future...it'll recet to 0% and you should be able to reset it.

I'll try. I didn't write down the exact sequence.
The first time I triedthis, itdidn't work.Next try,I left it at 2011 for a day. The display then read 'Maintainance Required........'

1. Set year to 2011.
2. Reset maintainance.
2.Leave it for a day.(see above)
3. Now reset back to 2008.

If I missed something, try again. It worked for me on the second try. Thanks again

I did the same thing it worked for me...idk what year I did though..I just wish their was a easier way to do it...I mean if I had to do that everytime I got a oil change...

Well...the "easier" way of doing anything is buying a Tech2...which will cost a pretty penny
