I recently bought an HID kit for my 2006 9-3 and i tried to install the kit everything went good until i turn the car on and the HIDs will not stay on. They flicker and then turn off. If i jsut turn the ignition on they light up and work fine; it is only when i turn the car on that they shut off! I went to the dealership and i had them to take off the DRLs since i heard that could be the issue, but it still does the same thing so i ahve no idea what to do and i really need some help with this! If anyone has any idea or an advice please let me know !

Curious, did you get a wire directly to the battery? It might not have enough to power on.

 

no i did not. i only hooked them up to the original harness cuz thats what the instructions said. do u think that might be the problem? and if thats the problem waht should i do ?
