RE: questions about my '07 93
As far as I know, SAAB only used the Linear, Arc, Aero designations on the 9-3 series from 2003 to 2005 model year (at least in the U.S.) with the Linear having the 175hp version of the 2.0 liter and the others the 210hp version (preceded in 2002 by the SE and Viggen models and followed by the 2.0T and Aero (V6) models from 2006 on (joined this year by the 280hp Turbo X version)).
I believe that the 9-3s are assembled in Graz, Austria, by Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik, from SAAB supplied components.

RE: questions about my '07 93
well...i have yet another question.
my 93's speedometer is off by up to 4 mph at 65 (so it reads 65 on the speedometer and 61 on my GPS) is this normal? and the difference gets bigger the faster you go...

RE: questions about my '07 93
With the wide availability of GPS these days, it's pretty easy to check. I don't have GPS, but whenever I've had means to measure it, I've found every speedometer I've ever had to lack in precision -always overstating the actual speed. What a dirty trick it would betounderstate the speed: "But officer, I really wasn't going over 55!"
