Radio/Electrical/Lighting Issues
Hello,
I just joined this forum because I am confused with the issues my car is having. My car is a 1999 9-3 5 door with the auto trans. This car has been facing a lot of annoying intermittent electrical issues. The back wiper works but the sprayers works sometimes (mostly in cold morning or first at start up) but as the car heats up it won't work. The right side high beam works sometimes and other times it does not, I have changed bulbs and everything, sometimes it will work fine other times it comes up on the SID that I have a front light failure. The bulbs don't blowout since they do work sometimes and the low beam on the same bulb works fine so it's not loose? The green backlighting on my radio doesn't come on often, but if you push on the radio it will light up for you,but rarely stays on after that and now the climate controls (manual) are now lighting up for the most part but have been acting up. The other issue with the radio is that everything works but the weather radio, it used to work just fine, but all of a sudden a few months ago it never worked again. I am just wondering if all these things are related, they are small, but very annoying issues. Anyone with any ideas please let me know before I go to the shop.
