Can soneone help me? The remote key on my 2005 9-3 is not working. I have changed the battery on the fob and still can't get in the car. The manual key just turns inside the lock (it just spins), so I can't get in that way either. I am completely locked out. There is no flashing of the car lights when I try to unlock the car. Any suggestions as to what the issue may be? Help needed.

 

You have a second key? My bet is that it isn't the key though...it's probably the TWICE...as much as I hate to say it, but I'd tow it to a stealership

 

Hey Roto and anyone else that may be curious, after calling GM Roadside assistance they were able to jimmy the door open. The car alarm went off but stopped after the key went in the ignition. The car started fine and I was later able to use the keyless again. I'm not sure if this was a case where the keyless needed to be recoded after the battery in the keyless went dead. I have booked an appointment with the dealership next week to figure out what happened and why I can't open the door manually still. I will keep you posted in the event someone has a similar problen down the line.
