Hey Guys, proud owner of my lil zip zip zoom saab. Its a 01 93

I was wondering if theres any repair books out for it, i looked at haynes but didnt see one there.


It under a seperate warrenty i bought but it will last me 3/36000 miles. I just like to know more about my vehicle.

My land rover also didnt have one but I was able to get this cd called RAVE and it had the service manual on it.

Do haynes or chilton make a book on repairing the SAAB or do y'all recommend one?

 

Look on ebay for a "WIS" CD. Its a PITA to install, but do-able. WIS is the factory service information CD. Its quirky to use (much like the car, LOL) but very informative.

The WIS does take some time to get used to, but in the end it's well worth it

 

If you're going to go the WIS route, make sure it's for the right year and model (above link was for a 9-3's from MY 2003 and beyond). Personally, I've had a heck of a time trying to find a WIS for the 9-3 MY 2001 and I don't want to infringe copyrights...um, yeah...

Anyways, if you want the Haynes manual, look for the MY 1999 - 2002 9-3 Petrol and Diesel models. It'll have a black cover and I've only seen it in hardback (though I guess paperback would be available too). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-S...3A1|240%3A1318

 

Good point on the years! I forgot to mention that, but now that I look, I have 4 different CDs to cover the different models and years.

 

I really wonder if copying WIS is infriging copyrights. All those F/S on ebay are basically dealer throwaways. Anyone have any insight?

 

I'm no lawyer, but if it's not infringement, I'd gladly pay someone materials and and postage to burn a copy...
