In other Auto venues the owner has the ability to self tune their own vehicles in the comfort of their garage or at their favorite Dyno shop. Unfortunatly the saab community haas not had that luxury until now.



In an effort to facilitate the need and desire for self tuning options a group of SAAB enthusiasts hatched an idea to create an environment that would allow just such a thing to happen.



So after the long awaited debut I would like to announce the launch of one of the first Open Source venue for ECU exploration, backup and discussion in the SAAB community. This site will serve as a forum to discuss and learn about the brains of one of the finest automobiles in the world, the SAAB.

The T5 stuff is being concurrently developed by the gang over at ECUproject.com as well. There are already tools to help you pull the information off via BDM and tools to help you reset the checksums on the ecu too.
