Tighten Fuel Filler Cap
A few times while I have stopped at a drive through, or a red light I've had the "Tighten Fuel Filler Cap" message come up. So I tried the obvious, and tightened it up. It still came up. So I then wound up trading out fuel caps with the one on my wrecked parts car, just in case it was a bad cap or something.
I'm still getting the message. Was wondering where the next logical place would be to look on the car to correct this problem.

next logical step would be to find out why the tank isn't holding pressure. It still could be the cap even though you tried a different one. Get ONLY new OEM fuel caps because aftermarket caps tend to yield themselves to this problem.
Where should I start checking on this car to see why it isn't holdring pressure? Any hoses in particular that come off the tank that have a history of being problemsome on these cars?
I'll monkey around with it a little before I get another new cap, hate to spend money on anything when I may not need to.
