Who thinks saab rules???
I currently own a 2002 Grand AM SE and thinking of switching to a Saab 9-3. These are pretty nice looking vehicles, I’m concerned about performance. I was told the power from the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine has a kick, however should I get the 2.8-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine? And, is it worth the price difference? The main features I need are Satellite radio, DVD navigation and wireless cell phone capabilities, i.e. Bluetooth. Has anyone experience this vehicle and what would be some pros and cons about it. Considering that I have put 96K miles on my vehicle how reliable are they?
Are u thinkin of gettin a new 9-3 Sport sedan or used 93 5door?
Requardless of that, the 6cyl turbo did not come in the 93s, only some 95s. However then new 93 SportCombi will be out in a few months and have a 250hp turbo 6. They are a sport wagon.
Also, saab has yet to come out with bluetooth working in there cars. You can get hands free kits that wire to the sound system and all, but bluetooth isn't out yet.
As for power, I would look for an Aero model, the 210hp is very nice when matched to the 6speed tranny.

I wouldn't say that I would "never" look at another car, but I am very fond of my Saab. It would take one hell of a car to make me switch. I like the BMW 5 series, but damn, everybody where I live has one and I hate "blending in". Your lucky if you see one Saab a day drive past you, and I like it that way ;-)
