Has anyone changed their transmission fluid on there 06-08 saab 9-5? The 06 has a dipstick so you can check the level but someone told me it was same transmission later 06 didnt have dipstick same as 08 auto trans. Theres no pan or filter? Is this the drain plug and do you just drain it and where do you fill the fluid too on this 08 model? On the 06 i guess you would drain it and just add the auto trans capacity of fluid but if there is a side level plug to remove while its running to show its correct amount of fluid or fill transmission fluid.

What trans fluid does the 06-08 saab 9-5 auto take and how many quarts once drained at the main drain plug? See photo is this the drain plug and whats this other torx plug for? Is it type IV atf fluid? or 3309? Some fluids like valvolines high mileage synthetic 6 5 quart jug for 18$ at walmart says compatible with alot of other fluids possibly type IV as well.
