9-5(1999) automatic vibration and oil light-are they related?
Greetings. Most of the time the car starts and runs beautifully. About 6 weeks ago, this 9-5 began dying off and on--and I came to understand it was the crank position sensor--which was then replaced which resolved the issue.
lately the engine seems to have a significant vibration happening. Esp. when in idle. The steering wheel really vibrates. Seems, I have come to know, that this is likely showing the need for replacing the motor mounts--maybe just the front ones--we'll see what the mechanic says.
But now--the triangle warning light and oil pressure light are on. Seems the oil level is fine--even though it is now easy to determine this with the 2.3 --as the dipstick is a piece of junk and hard to get an accurate read from.
Might this be the oil pressure pump, and if so--likely not easy to replace.
Any help Saab lovers?
Rick
