Default Oil Filter Destroyed: PLEASE HELP

Decided to change my mother in laws oil because I wanted to score some brownie points and save her some $$. 4 hours later I find myself here. 2003 9-5 2.3t. Oil filter was stuck, strap wrench, screwdriver, and vise grips didn't work. I've removed the entire filter with the exception of the metal circle disc with the small holes. I used a dremel to notch me a groove for flat chisel and hammering. Spent a good 1 hour hammering away and this damn thing will not move. I'm way past brownie points and would love some advise. I have attached a photo.

I've also tried a small putty knife to break the seal and slowly working counter-clockwise. Still nothing. Is there a way to remove the oil filter adapter/plate without replacing the entire oil filter housing.
