Default Saab 9-5 Air Conditioning

Last year, whilst on holiday, the fan on my 1999 Saab 9-5 (93000 miles)stopped and didn't respond to any attention to get it going. This lasted for about a week and then mysteriously started up again giving no further trouble, until now. Recently, the rear offside footwell seems to flood but, rather than be coincident with wet weather, quite the opposite happens, i.e. when the air conditioning is in use. The fan has now stopped working in any other mode other than manual selection of full fan and then it blasts hot air to the rear and air at the requested temp to the front. This has been going on now for about 4 weeks
Any suggestions where to go from here?

Default RE: Saab 9-5 Air Conditioning

The flooding out is a clogged AC drain line. As far as the fan goes...it could be as simple as the fan speed resistor, but I've never actually worked on a 99 9-5 in that area of the car.
