Default Vacuum pump issue.

Hey! So, had a problem with the DPF clogging on my 07 9-5 1.9 tid Vector. Found a crack in the top hose between the intercooler and the intake plus a lose clamp on the EGR pipe from turbo onto the EGR radiator, replaced the intercoolerpipe and tightened the clap. Cleaned the EGR valve and the intake pressure sensor, problem fixed. NOW the vacuum pump is making a f@#*ing whining noise while standing still and accelerating from a stand still, while driving it's gone. Disconnected the smallest hose that runs to a valve on top of the radiator and the noise was gone. Cold this be related? Beeing the idiot that I am, figured out that replacing the pump itself would take care of it, NOT.. 450 bucks well spent.. Seriously need some help, anyone? Hit the famous wall with this..
