Default Front end shaking

I have a 95 saab 9000 with 125000 miles on it. Ive had the car for a few months and i love it. About 2 months ago it started shaking upon acceleration from 45 mph and up. I changed the axels, the ball joints, and the top 2 motor mounts. and it still SHAKES!!!!!!! A mechanic friend of mine said it was the carrier bearings in the trans but i doubt thats the case. And i have no idea what to do next. All suggestions or ideas are welcome thanks.

did you replace the wheel hub bearings? it could also be the upper strut mount. is it a side to side shake or an up and down shake? were the axles rebuilt units or new?

you will most likely find it is the hub bearings if the cv is new. the upper strut mount usually wont be the problem but its still a possibility if the hubs are good. also look at the tie rods and their ends for wear. if any of the contol arm bushings are bad it will shake like a wet dog too. if you were in indy id say drop by an i would look at it and tell you for sure.

haha well im in new jersey but thanks anyway. i looked at it on the lift the other day and the tierod ends looked good, but i didnt check the control arm bushings. Thanks again for all you help. Also is there anything else i can do to this car to pep it up a lil bit without shrinking my wallet. Is there any other indicator of the wheel hub bearings being bad before i spend another $400 on something else that isnt the problem. (Im not saying your worng but i just want to be sure)

wheel hubs are cheap and easy to diy. have you looked at the rear suspension? it can cause front shimmy aswell
