ive heard too many horror stories involving di cassettes plus they are not within the budget
the price of some of the parts on these saabs would lead you to beleive were all driving a ferrari

I don't know about that. What's the price tag of 4 coil packs for a Mazda 3? I think it's right around the area of the DI cassette cost.

yes but ill have to delete the distributor, vaccume advanceand plug the hole it fits in which is notorious for leaking oil. change the cams, change ecu, i thinkid be better off tranplanting an used engine from a 1997 saab 9000 i could see changing everything if i wanted 350+hp but the 200+ i already have hasn't let me down yet

however i was pondering about building a saab dragster to run in the sportsman class in the nhramabey v6 twin turbo or run a turbo'd b series engine in the econodragster class

Plugging the hole is no big deal. Yes, it always seeps a little. I stopped paying attention to it. Changing cams is not necessary and actually you can keep the distributor as it's not bothering anything.

The dragster would be a neat idea using a B235R with upgraded internals and a giant turbo.

I wish I could say that I had extra engines... not having a garage stinks. If I had a garage I would most likely end up building a B204 powered AWD monstrosity...

id like to design my own car and build it but id need to hit the lotto
im thinking something that would keep up with koenigsegg ccx but with true swedish power
making 806 bhp mabey a b234r from an aero. tuned from 260hp to at least 550hp or so

Well technically it wouldn't be true AWD. I'd just slap a limited slip in the gearbox, turn the engine sideways and extend the shafts to a front and rear differential.
