Aux input for factory Stereo

Aux input for factory Stereo
My girlfriend just got an '05 93 sedan, and we're wondering what options we've got for her MP3 player. The radio lists 3 inputs, Radio, CD, and Aux...on the aftermarket stereo I have in my truck Aux is for a pair of RCA inputs on the back of it. So, for 7 bucks at radio shack & bought a 3' RCA-phone jack cable & ran it through the dash to the glove box, then I keep the mp3 player in there & plug it into the head phones. Is the Aux option on the Saab the same thing? If so, where can I find instructions to pull the stereo out so I can plug my cable in?
If not, what options do I have for her MP3? Its not an iPod so something like the USASpec ipod adapter won't work, and she likes the factory stereo so something aftermarket isn't really an option. And most FM modulators just kind of suck...so we'd rather not use one of those if possible too.
Thanks!

RE: Aux input for factory Stereo
billebob your not gonna be able to do anything to the stock stereo if YOU REALLY wanted to hook up the mp3 your gonna have to do what I did but this cost me 675$ to install...but now i can hook aux up to it and anything I want to...and of course...it will play mp3 cds and allow mp3 players to be hooked up to it

RE: Aux input for factory Stereo
this is somewhat of a follow-up question and perhaps should be a new thread, but I heard that the '99 was the first year that the 9-3 had built in auxiliary, is this true? I have a 2000 9-3 and will be looking to upgrade in a year or two and want to figure out what year is the earliest I could get with the features I want.

Inexpensive Install
I was looking to add an auxilary input jack too and found this cable for $55 and with free shipping. My oem deck was already programmed for the aux-in so it was easy plug-n-play. Here is the website and it has directions for the install on this page too.

The only downside is that I hear a slight hiss when the volume is up high but the sound level is low. If you have done this and have a fix, please let me know.
