Someone please help! So I just bought a $900.00 Alpine head-unit with a flip-out touch screen for my 2004 Saab 9-3 Aero. The stereo shop peopleare now telling me that my stock system is so complex that they can't possibly put the new one in without setting off all kinds of codes. So, for now they're just installing my two RE Audio 12" subs, 1400 watt Crossfire amp, and Stinger capacitor through my stock head unit and they're just using what's called a "line driver" to create the prober output voltage from the stock head-unit...(or something like that) and a converter box. There has got to be some way to install my Alpine head-unit. If anyone has any tips, please let me know ASAP...
