Default 1992 saab classic turbo - stalling problem

I have a low mileage, 1992 turbo classic 900. I have an intermittant stalling problem. Every now and again, but mostly after running at motorway speeds for some time without a drop in revs, when I have to stop the engine falters (drops to below half tickover speed) and then dies. It starts up ok afterwards. I have a feeling that an electircal component is breaking down somewhere. Am I right, or should I look elsewhere?
All advice greatly appreciated
Bob

Default RE: 1992 saab classic turbo - stalling problem

is it running hot, or hotter than usual? then it starts right away? once it starts, does it want to stall again?
