2004 9-3 aero just clicks on start up
Alright so I'm new here, but have been looking up this problem for a while. when i turn the key all i get from the starter is a click but when i bridge the starter relay it starts every time. Sometimes the car will start with the key but 95% of the time i have to bridge the relay.
I've put in a new battery and that didn't work, I also put in a new starter and the problem still persisted. I switched up the starter relay with the other relay just like it and that didn't change anything. I also ran a wire form the alternator straight to the starter, cause the old one was pretty corroded.
Its a 2004 9-3 aero automatic, any suggestions?
