Default Lower Control Arm bushings

My '99 9-3 SE Convertible has 5,000 miles since I replaced the engine. The engine runs great and doesn't use any oil. A couple of problems still exist and I hope you can help me.

1. The SAID: I sent it off for "repair" and it worked for a couple of months while the car wasn't even being driving. Now that the car is on the road again, the SAID pixels are dropping off. Question: Is there an after-market stereo or audio system that I could replace the SAID and CD player?

2. The car makes a loud metal-on-metal sound when I go from a forward motion to a rearward motion. The noise is coming from the right side suspension. I have replaced both axels and brake pads. My guess is the lower control arm and the suspension arm bushings are worn out or the hardware is bent. Question: how difficult is replacing the bushings in the control arms and suspension arm.

I appreciate you assistance.

WHo repaired your SID? They should warranty their work...

The bushings are a bit involving, but you could do them yourself. I highly recommend genuinesaab's poly bushings. Although the metal on metal sound could the the engine mount.
