Question for anyone who knows...

I have a 2006 9-5 and it has the metallic dash. I am really not a fan of this and prefer the wood dash from my days when I had a 99 9-5. I have seen the wood dash kits online at many different sites, and I guess I am asking if anyone knows if the wood dash kit would work when I put it on over the metallic. This may be a dumb question but before I buy one, I wanted to see if anyone knows the answer. And, if I can indeed do it, does anyone recommend a website to buy it from?

Why not remove the metallic kit? I mean the woo dwill stick over it, but why do it that way? It might not look right.

so you can remove the metallic dash? i wasnt aware of that. I guess I should mention that I am not that mechanically inclined and I tend to screw things up. But what you are saying is that I can remove the metallic dash that came with the car?

AFAIK - yes. It's just a sticker, just like the wood kit. It's not easy though.
