Hi All,

What does everyone's dealer tell them about the type of oil they use for the 9-2x Aero?

I was told Synthetic only by Mike Shaw in Denver, and told regular oil by Gebhardt in Boulder.

Is it ok/recommended to go 7500 miles on regular oil?!

Please respond if you can, I'm going back to pick my car up in a couple hours

you can go 7500 miles on synthetic, not regular...but I wouldnt recommend it at all

 

even if your SYNTHETICoil lasts 7500 the filter doesn't...the most I'd ever go without a change is 5K, but only when I'm busy...3K otherwise on full synthetic oil and an OEM filter.
