Default 2001 9.3SE noisy rear wheels - bearings? hubs?

Hi everyone,

Since the fuel pump replacement the "blaab" has been running pretty well (knock wood, salt over shoulder, cross fingers, exit from same door you entered) but I am getting increasing hummy rotational noise from primarily the left rear wheel (whu whu whu whu) most notable at about 40mph, below 40 no noise, above 40 too loud or it is rotating too quickly.

So gimme the skinny on rear hubs/bearings etc and tell me what when how etc could this be something else? E-brake? that thing don't work so well so maybe, but I doubt it..

Car has 108k on it, automatic.

Thanks in advance!

Check for simple things first like tire pressure and unusual tire wear before looking at hubs. Also check for wobble in the rear wheel, since that would indicate a need for a new hub.
