I just got an 03 9.3 2.0t that has some stereo problems. The stereo works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. When it does work, the door speakers do not work, but blinker noise does work. FM1 will blink on, then off when it doesn't work. Once I see the station pop up, I know it will work. Very sporadic. I noticed that there is a red light visible through a vent hole on top of the amp 1. The stereo used to work fine, as it used to be my mom's car, but now it doesn't. Does this sound like an amp1 issue, if so I want to have this one rebuilt or get a new one.

Other peculiar thing: when it is not working, if I put the hazards on, the FM1 will light up for 5 flashes, then off for 7 then repeat this over and over until it decides to work.
