Default Gas Cap Vented or NON-vented??

I found older SAAB 900 in U-pullit and the gas cap was non-vented. Will this work on a 2000 9-3? I also got the headlights and wiperset-up. Mine were broke -lights were pitted up- Junk ones looked great compared. My engine light comes on and off due to vac leak.

The gas cap in your 2000 9-3 in NON-vented. The vac leak MAY be due to a bad gas cap seal. Are you getting code P0455? The other possibilities are bad vacuum hoses and a malfunctioning EVAP purge valve.

try resetting the ecu first...pull the negative battery cable off for a few minutes. See if CEL reappears.
