Hi All,

I'm new here.

I recently purchased a 2006 9-3 sedan. It's in nice shape with 116,000 miles on it. Has Falkon 55 series V rated tires on it and handles like a dream. This is my soon to be 17 yr old son's 1st car.

I plan on putting 4 new snow tires on it since he'll be doing a lot of winter driving .

What seems to be my most demanding issue right now is that both manual keys that came with the car will not unlock it. I have three fobs that work well. If the battery dies in the car and it's locked I'm going to be S.O.L.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue? I've googled it and searched, most likely fix at this point would be to take the inside door liner off and check the linkage/springs, maybe a quick fix. Both keys fit and turn perfectly, they just aren't actuating anything.

Any Replies and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
